Girls, but Boys- is about what happens when a failing relationship clashes with a group of friends, and the poor communication, modern dating pressure, and fear of missing out that brought it together are what makes it come undone. Jack and Lena are on different ends of a high stakes, casual relationship that hinges on the pressures of what matters to...who? They aren’t exactly sure. Jack attempts to navigate his morals while not letting anyone down, in search of the modern utopia – a neverland in which he has no ethical or logistical dilemmas – while Lena waits for Jack to commit to a relationship he wants even though his actions say otherwise. In both instances and together, the would-be couple and their circle are waiting for nothing to happen.
